Israel's Minister of Science and Technology
Ofir Akunis was born in Tel Aviv in 1973. Prior to entering politics, he served in the IDF as a military Journalist in the Department of the Head Educational Officer, and earned a B.A. in International Relations and Political Science. A former spokesman for the Likud, he served as Media Consultant to Likud Chairman Netanyahu, Advisor to the Minister of Finance, and Advisor to the Minister of Justice. He was elected to the Knesset in February 2009, serving as Deputy Speaker of the Knesset, Chair of the Knesset Economic Affairs Committee, and a member of various other committees. In March 2013 Ofir Akunis was appointed Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Office. In December 2014 he was also appointed Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection. In May 2015 he was appointed Minister and in September 2015, Minister of Science and Technology. He is married and a father of two.
Anat Lea Bonshtien

Dr. Anat Lea Bonshtien serves as the Chairman and Director of the Fuel Choices and Smart Mobility Initiative as of January 2017. Prior to this, she served as the Technology and Regulation Manager of the Initiative. In addition, Dr. Bonshtien serves in the Board of Directors of the Capsula Israeli Smart Transportation Center. She is also a member of the National Science Committee for Energy under the Ministry of Science and Technology. Dr. Bonshtien is a former Mimshak Fellow, a science and policy fellowship program which integrates scientific knowledge with decision making. Dr. Bonshtien holds a MSc and a PhD in Biochemistry from Tel-Aviv University, Israel.

Ole Harms has been CEO of MOIA since December 2016. After working as a Strategy Consultant at Capgemini, Harms joined Volkswagen Consulting in 2008. As head of the Sales and Marketing division, he advised Volkswagen's top management. In 2012, he took over as Head of New Business Models and Performance. From 2014 to January 2016 he was Executive Director and Head of New Business Models & Mobility Services, where he initiated the mobility partnership with the city of Hamburg and was responsible for the conception and development of MOIA. Guenter Butschek

Mr. Guenter Butschek is responsible for leading all operations of Tata Motors in India and international markets. He is also a Member of the Board. He launched several new production lines for Mercedes, Chrysler, and Mitsubishi products and set the footprint for future profitable growth. Mr. Butschek, 56, graduated in Business Administration and Economics with a diploma from the University of Cooperative Education Stuttgart, Germany.

Between 2009 and 2015 Professor Kandel served as the Head of the National Economic Council and as the Economic Advisor to the Prime Minister, and played a central role in all the major decisions on economic policy. Yisrael Dancziger
Director General, Ministry of Environmental Protection
Director General of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and a former Entrepreneur and Hi-tech CEO, Dancziger was born in Kfar Etzion. He enlisted in a pilots' course, and then continued with the Sayeret Matkal commando unit, before joining the Paratroopers' sabotage squad, where he served as a Team Commander and Deputy Commander of the unit. In the reserves he served as the Commander of the Paratroopers unit. Dancziger studied at Ben-Gurion University, and founded and managaed Digital Fuel, which developed products for massive companies and was ultimately sold to VMware. During that time, he was also a partner in the establishment, investment, and recovery of other hi-tech companies. He is the author of "Yozma - Israeli Story" - the story of the creation of a global software company. In 2014, he became one of the founders of the Kulanu political party. Since 2015, Mr. Dancziger has served as the Director General of the Ministry of Environmental Protection. During his tenure, he led the Ministry to the forefront of the governmental stage, to actions and achievements, including: reducing pollution and environmental risks to the public; reducing social gaps; and leading strategic revolutions in the fields of vehicular pollution, industrial energy production, waste, and more.

Amnon Shashua

Prof. Amnon Shashua holds the Sachs chair in Computer Science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His field of expertise is in computer vision and machine learning. Amnon has founded three startups in the computer vision and machine learning fields. In 1995 he founded CogniTens that specializes in the area of industrial metrology and is today a division of the Swedish Corporation Hexagon. In 1999 he cofounded Mobileye with his partner Ziv Aviram. Mobileye develops system-on-chips and computer vision algorithms for driving assistance systems and is developing a platform for autonomous driving to be launched in 2021. In August 2014, Mobileye claimed the title for largest Israeli IPO ever, by raising $1B at a market cap of $5.3B. In August 2017, Mobileye became an Intel company. Today, Prof. Shashua is the CEO and CTO of Mobileye and a Senior Vice President of Intel Corporation. In 2010 Amnon co-founded OrCam which harnesses computer vision and artificial intelligence to assist people who are visually impaired or blind.

Lars Peter Lindfors received his M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden in 1989. He received his doctoral degree with honors in the field of chemical reaction engineering, from Åbo Academy, Finland, in 1994, while working as a researcher in catalysis at Neste. He held several researcher and managerial research positions at Neste (1989–2001), both within the Oil & Gas and the Chemicals division. He then moved to the Perstorp Group, where he was Executive Vice President, Renewal, Technology and Development (2001–2007). He then joined Neste for the second time in 2007, taking on the responsibility as Vice President for the company's Research and Development unit (2007–2009). Now he is the Senior Vice President, Technology, being responsible for, among other units, the Research & Development, on the Corporate level. Previously he served as Senior Vice President, Technology and Strategy (2009–2012). He has had a key role in leading the Technology development related to the Renewable Business since 2007, regarding the broadening of the feedstock base and developing process technology. Jacob Bangsgaard

Jacob Bangsgaard has been leading ERTICO – ITS Europe since January 2017. ERTICO is a multi-sector platform with 120 partners from more than 25 countries and with headquarter in Brussels, Belgium. He has also represented mobility interests for a regional authority and he worked for two years in the European Commission Transport Directorate.
