Ofir Akunis was born in Tel Aviv in 1973. Prior to entering politics, he served in the IDF as a military Journalist in the Department of the Head Educational Officer, and earned a B.A. in International Relations and Political Science. A former spokesman for the Likud, he served as Media Consultant to Likud Chairman Netanyahu, Advisor to the Minister of Finance, and Advisor to the Minister of Justice. He was elected to the Knesset in February 2009, serving as Deputy Speaker of the Knesset, Chair of the Knesset Economic Affairs Committee, and a member of various other committees. In March 2013 Ofir Akunis was appointed Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Office. In December 2014 he was also appointed Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection. In May 2015 he was appointed Minister and in September 2015, Minister of Science and Technology. He is married and a father of two.

Dr. Anat Lea Bonshtien serves as the Chairman and Director of the Fuel Choices and Smart Mobility Initiative as of January 2017. Prior to this, she served as the Technology and Regulation Manager of the Initiative. In addition, Dr. Bonshtien serves in the Board of Directors of the Capsula Israeli Smart Transportation Center. She is also a member of the National Science Committee for Energy under the Ministry of Science and Technology. Dr. Bonshtien is a former Mimshak Fellow, a science and policy fellowship program which integrates scientific knowledge with decision making. Dr. Bonshtien holds a MSc and a PhD in Biochemistry from Tel-Aviv University, Israel.

Ole Harms has been CEO of MOIA since December 2016. After working as a Strategy Consultant at Capgemini, Harms joined Volkswagen Consulting in 2008. As head of the Sales and Marketing division, he advised Volkswagen's top management. In 2012, he took over as Head of New Business Models and Performance. From 2014 to January 2016 he was Executive Director and Head of New Business Models & Mobility Services, where he initiated the mobility partnership with the city of Hamburg and was responsible for the conception and development of MOIA. Ole Harms lives in Hannover and Berlin.

Mr. Guenter Butschek is responsible for leading all operations of Tata Motors in India and international markets. He is also a Member of the Board. Regarded as a Turnaround specialist, Mr. Butschek is known for running large scale business transformations and he is currently leading such process at Tata Motors. In his previous role, Mr. Butschek served as Chief Operating Officer of Airbus and Member of the Group Executive Committee. He played a critical role in reshaping the industrial strategy, implementing a global operating system and enhancing the end-to-end supply chain performance. Prior to Airbus, Mr. Butschek worked at Daimler AG, with 25 years of experience in the areas of logistics, human resources and procurement . The last role he held was that of President and Chief Executive Officer of Beijing Benz Automotive Co., Ltd., where he relocated the operations to an all new state-of-the-art facility. He launched several new production lines for Mercedes, Chrysler, and Mitsubishi products and set the footprint for future profitable growth. Mr. Butschek, 56, graduated in Business Administration and Economics with a diploma from the University of Cooperative Education Stuttgart, Germany.

Dinesh joined HARMAN in 2007 and has transformed the company into a customer-centric and innovation driven technology leader, expanding the company’s business in high-growth emerging markets and positioning the company as the premier tier one partner to automotive companies around the world. Dinesh also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors when HARMAN was acquired by Samsung Electronics for US$8 billion in 2017. Prior to joining HARMAN, he spent 22 years with ABB Group, where he last held the dual role of President of ABB Group and Chairman and CEO of ABB North America. Moving to Beijing in 1994, Dinesh established ABB’s operations in China and North Asia, where he subsequently grew the region’s business ten-fold in four years. In 2017, Dinesh was named to the Inaugural Recode 100. In addition, B'nai B'rith International honored Dinesh with its Distinguished Achievement Award, and he was named an Ellis Island Medal of Honor recipient by the National Ethnic Coalition of Organizations (NECO). In 2015, Dinesh was named to Yahoo Finance’s short list of five-star CEOs and in 2014 was named to Fortune magazine’s “Business Person of the Year” list.

Michel Taride is the Group President of Hertz International covering all corporate and franchise operations across EMEA, APAC, South America, Mexico and the Caribbean. Michel began his career with Hertz in 1980 as Station Manager at Cannes Airport and over a 37 year period has progressed through the business holding numerous leadership positions in operational, commercial, country and divisional management. Michel is the Chair of the Advisory Board for the Global Travel and Tourism Partnership, a non for profit organisation that supports education in many developing countries. Michel represents the Hertz Corporation as a founding member of the World Travel and Tourism Council. 

Professor Eugene Kandel is the CEO of the Start-Up Nation Central, a non-profit dedicated to strengthening Israel’s innovation ecosystem and connecting the world business, government, and NGO leaders to the people and technologies in Israel that can help them solve their most pressing problems. Between 2009 and 2015 Professor Kandel served as the Head of the National Economic Council and as the Economic Advisor to the Prime Minister, and played a central role in all the major decisions on economic policy. Kandel is the Emil Spyer Professor of Economics and Finance at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He holds a BA and an MA from the Hebrew University, and an MBA and Ph.D. in Economics from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago. Professor Kandel’s primary area of expertise is in Financial Markets and Financial Intermediaries, and his research has been published in various world-leading Finance and Economics journals. 

Dr. Bracha Halaf is the Chief Scientist at the Ministry of Energy. Dr. Halaf holds a Ph.D in Biophysics from the Weizmann Institute of Science, and M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Ben- Gurion University of the Negev. Bracha also serves as the Senior Manager of Oil Replacement, the Head of the National Coal Ash Board, a member of the Natural Gas Authority Council, and Board Member of the Israel-U.S BSF and BIRD-ENERGY. Dr. Halaf is a member of the National Council for Advancement of Women in Science and Technology. 

Director General of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and a former Entrepreneur and Hi-tech CEO, Dancziger was born in Kfar Etzion. He enlisted in a pilots' course, and then continued with the Sayeret Matkal commando unit, before joining the Paratroopers' sabotage squad, where he served as a Team Commander and Deputy Commander of the unit. In the reserves he served as the Commander of the Paratroopers unit. Dancziger studied at Ben-Gurion University, and founded and managaed Digital Fuel, which developed products for massive companies and was ultimately sold to VMware. During that time, he was also a partner in the establishment, investment, and recovery of other hi-tech companies. He is the author of "Yozma - Israeli Story" - the story of the creation of a global software company. In 2014, he became one of the founders of the Kulanu political party. Since 2015, Mr. Dancziger has served as the Director General of the Ministry of Environmental Protection. During his tenure, he led the Ministry to the forefront of the governmental stage, to actions and achievements, including: reducing pollution and environmental risks to the public; reducing social gaps; and leading strategic revolutions in the fields of vehicular pollution, industrial energy production, waste, and more.

Eran recently led Delphi Automotive’s (now Aptiv) Autonomous Driving and Connected Services business unit, overseeing global engineering teams, business staff and wholly owned subsidiaries focused on providing hardware, software, algorithms and cloud services to transform future mobility. Prior to Delphi, Eran was a Senior Executive for over 20+ years in Fortune 500 companies including Qualcomm, Cypress, Texas Instruments and Marvell. During this period Eran led global businesses, operations and M&A focused on server communications, storage, mobile handsets and Internet-of-Things (IoT) for consumer, automotive and industrial applications.

Matthew Baldwin is Deputy Director General of DG MOVE, with responsibility for the transport "modes" – land (road and rail), waterborne (including ports policy) and aviation - and multimodality.  In addition to these responsibilities, on 2 October 2018, he was appointed as European Coordinator for road safety and related aspects of sustainable  mobility, and these issues are now his main focus. He has served in the cabinets of Commissioner Lamy, President Barroso and Commissioner Hill, the last as Head of Cabinet. He has two sons, speaks English and French and lives in Brussels.   

Chris Leck is the Deputy Group Director at the Land Transport Authority of Singapore, where he oversees the Autonomous Vehicle Programme Office. Prior to this, he served in various capacities within the Singapore Public Service, including Director of the Futures & Transformation Division at the Ministry of Transport and Director of Strategic & Political-Military Planning at the Ministry of Defence. Chris graduated from the London School of Economics with a Bachelor’s degree in Government & Economics, and also holds a Master’s degrees in International Relations and International Law from Columbia University, the Australian National University and Tel Aviv University.

Danny Shapiro is Senior Director of Automotive at NVIDIA, focusing on Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions self-driving cars, trucks and shuttles. The NVIDIA automotive team is engaged with over 370 car and truck makers, tier 1 suppliers, HD mapping companies, sensor companies and startup companies that are all using the company's DRIVE hardware and software platform for autonomous vehicle development and deployment. Danny serves on the advisory boards of the Los Angeles Auto Show, the Connected Car Council and Udacity. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Princeton University and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. 

Johann Jungwirth, since August 2018 Executive Vice President of Mobility Services at Volkswagen Group of America, is responsible for the new Mobility-as-a-Service business with self-driving electric vehicles. Johann has joined the Volkswagen Group in November 2015 as Chief Digital Officer. Johann also worked for Apple in Cupertino, CA (USA), as President & CEO of Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America with its HQ in Silicon Valley and for Daimler in Germany. Johann Jungwirth was born on May 3rd, 1973. He holds an Electrical Engineering Degree Dipl.-Ing. (BA) from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University in Stuttgart, is married and has three children.

Prof. Amnon Shashua holds the Sachs chair in Computer Science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His field of expertise is in computer vision and machine learning. Amnon has founded three startups in the computer vision and machine learning fields. In 1995 he founded CogniTens that specializes in the area of industrial metrology and is today a division of the Swedish Corporation Hexagon. In 1999 he cofounded Mobileye with his partner Ziv Aviram. Mobileye develops system-on-chips and computer vision algorithms for driving assistance systems and is developing a platform for autonomous driving to be launched in 2021. In August 2014, Mobileye claimed the title for largest Israeli IPO ever, by raising $1B at a market cap of $5.3B. In August 2017, Mobileye became an Intel company. Today, Prof. Shashua is the CEO and CTO of Mobileye and a Senior Vice President of Intel Corporation. In 2010 Amnon co-founded OrCam which harnesses computer vision and artificial intelligence to assist people who are visually impaired or blind.

Mr. Abe T. Chen is a recognized leader in security, network management, and system administration. His security expertise includes end-to-end digital and physical investigations, advanced layered security architectures, compliance/risk mitigation methodologies, and product security. He has made a career of successfully bringing leading-edge security techniques to the enterprise across technology sectors. At BYTON, Abe leads a groundbreaking organization that merges the cloud, vehicle connectivity, and security functions with that of IT, thereby accelerating the delivery of innovative technologies to market and improving the company’s overall IT organization. To ensure that these goals are met, he has built a team of experts in cloud and vehicle connectivity focused on security and data privacy by design, allowing for seamless and rapid technology innovations from the car to the cloud to the user’s overall experience. Abe comes to BYTON from Tesla and Apple, where he was a leader responsible for global product security programs. In his spare time, he teaches security at the University of California, Santa Cruz.

Lars Peter Lindfors received his M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden in 1989. He received his doctoral degree with honors in the field of chemical reaction engineering, from Åbo Academy, Finland, in 1994, while working as a researcher in catalysis at Neste. He held several researcher and managerial research positions at Neste (1989–2001), both within the Oil & Gas and the Chemicals division. He then moved to the Perstorp Group, where he was Executive Vice President, Renewal, Technology and Development (2001–2007). He then joined Neste for the second time in 2007, taking on the responsibility as Vice President for the company's Research and Development unit (2007–2009). Now he is the Senior Vice President, Technology, being responsible for, among other units, the Research & Development, on the Corporate level. Previously he served as Senior Vice President, Technology and Strategy (2009–2012). He has had a key role in leading the Technology development related to the Renewable Business since 2007, regarding the broadening of the feedstock base and developing process technology. In 2013 Lars Peter Lindfors received the Finnish ‘Energy Initiative of the Year Award’ and in 2014 he was recognized with the ‘2014 CTO of the Year Award’, by the Technology Academy Finland. In 2015 he received the Knight, First Class, of the Order of the Lion of Finland, mark of honor by the President of Finland. Dr. Lindfors is a Board Member of e.g. the Fortum Foundation and Neste Engineering Solutions 

Jacob Bangsgaard has been leading ERTICO – ITS Europe since January 2017. ERTICO is a multi-sector platform with 120 partners from more than 25 countries and with headquarter in Brussels, Belgium. He worked for ERTICO also from 2001-2006 as Director of International Affairs and communications where he was responsible for the international deployment support for ITS on markets like China, India, Russia, and Brazil. Mr Bangsgaard is a Danish national with a university background in international economics and 27 years’ experience working in Brussels on transport and mobility issues. Mr Bangsgaard was from 2010-2016 Director General of FIA Region I and responsible for the mobility activities of the FIA in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Before becoming Director General he worked as Director of International Relations at the FIA Foundation where he was responsible for the deployment support and global campaigning for vehicle safety technologies. He has also represented mobility interests for a regional authority and he worked for two years in the European Commission Transport Directorate. Jacob Bangsgaard is President of the MaaS Alliance, and was on the Board of Euro NCAP from 2010-2016 and Secretary General of the Belgian association eSafetyAware from 2009-2016.

Sudhir Mehta serves as Chairman & Managing Director at Pinnacle Industries Ltd. Mr. Mehta also serves as a Member of Board of Management at Force Motors Ltd., as an India Growth Advisor at Urdaneta Capital. In 1996 Mehta founded Pinnacle Industries Ltd., He led the joint venture between Force Motors and Force Trucks as a Managing Director of Man Force Trucks. He joined Northern Trust as a Senior Consultant in the Asset Management department, where he worked for several years until 1996. He serves as a Director of Rivulis Plastro Ltd. (also known as Rivulis Irrigation) and holds several public positions.

Born in New York (USA) in 1968, Mr. Venturini graduated cum laude in Economics from the University "La Sapienza" of Rome Italy where he also served as Assistant Professor of Banking Strategies and Techniques during the academic year 1991-1992. Mr. Venturini is a London Business School alumnus and he has been awarded an MBA at the MIT Sloan Business School. At the onset of his career Mr. Venturini served as Financial Controller for Elsag Bailey Process Automation, a Finmeccanica group company, taking part in its listing on the NYSE. He later became Chief Financial Officer for several companies of the Elsag Bailey Process Automation and Hartmann & Braun groups in both the United States and Brazil. He joined the Enel Group in 1997 as Head of Administration and Management Control at Enel S.p.A., contributing to the company listing on the New York and Milan Stock Exchanges. Mr. Venturini later became Head of Internal Audit within Enel’s Distribution and Market Division, and subsequently, Head of Sales Administration within the same division. In 2009, he was appointed Head of Finance in Enel Green Power. Afterwards, he worked at Enel Green Power North America, first taking on the role of Head of Business Development and later, in 2011, as Head of the North America Area. In May 2014, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Enel Green Power, position that he held for 3 years making the company one of the best-positioned and more successful operator in the renewable energy sector at the worldwide level. In May 2017, Mr. Venturini has been appointed Head of E-Solutions, then renamed Enel X, a new global division within the Enel group, which has been created to provide new digitalized products and value added services, such as energy efficiency, demand response, electric mobility, IoT and optical fiber at both residential and C&I level.

Born in Naples (Italy) in 1967, Costantino Baldissara is the Commercial, Logistics & Operations Director of Grimaldi Group, headquartered in Naples (Italy). Costantino started working for Grimaldi Group in 1992 and has a vast experience in the logistics and vessels operations industry. He is also directly responsible for the overall commercial activities for the Grimaldi Group and supervises several departments that deal with issues such as lines, damage prevention, external relations and research. He is Past President of the Association of European Vehicle Logistics (ECG) and oversaw one of the most challenging times for the finished vehicle carrier industry and automotive sector as a whole. He is currently Chairman of SAL, Scandinavian Auto Logistics (Denmark), Chairman of Automar SpA, Chairman of Ghianda Srl, Deputy Chairman of PET (Palermo Euro Terminal), Deputy Chairman of Auto Terminal Gioia Tauro SpA, CEO of Sintermar SpA, CEO of COIFI srl, Board Member of Autuori Srl, Board Member of Brucato Deta Srl, and board member of SAT- Salerno Auto Terminal. Previously, he has also served as Co-Chairman of the General Motors Europe Logistics Supplier Council and has been a Member of General Motors Global Logistics Council, CEO of Grimaldi & Suardiaz S.p.a. and Board Member of Trive Spain and Portugal.

Elton Fong is Vice President of PSA unboXed, the corporate innovation and venture capital arm of global port operator PSA International. UnboXed helps PSA harness technology and innovation from startups in the areas of ports, supply chain management and maritime.  A few of PSA unboXed’s investments include ClearMetal (predictive cargo flow), Haulio (crowdsourced container haulage), and Deliveree (crowdsoured mid-mile B2B truckload delivery). Before leading PSA unboXed, Elton had over 15 years of experience in infrastructure investments, growing PSA International’s terminals portfolio globally. Elton graduated from the London School of Economics & Political Science in Economics with 1st class honours.

Eyal is Co-founder and managing director of Beyond Mobility – One of a kind, Israeli-based, Smart-Mobility hub, bringing together global mobility players, top-notch Israeli startups & strategic long-term investors to transform smart mobility innovation into business growth, quickly, by leveraging our deep domain expertise and our extensive network of Israeli startups. Eyal is the founder and Ex-Chairman of "The Fuel Choices & Smart Mobility Initiative" - Israel's National Program for alternative fuels and Smart Mobility. The 10 years - $400 million Program serves as a catalyst for establishing Israel as a center of knowledge and innovation in the field of alternative fuels and smart mobility. Reporting to the Prime Minister, Eyal Chairs the government’s inter-departmental steering committee and runs the Program, where he was responsible for developing and executing the Program's strategy while coordinating nine government departments participating in the Program. During his five years as the head of the initiative, the amount of companies in the field in Israel grow seven-fold to more than 600 while the amount of research groups grew from 40 to 250. In addition, global collaborations with governments' academia and industry from around the world turned Israel into a global hub for technologies and forward thinking in the field, with constant presence of most of the global players. Eyal brings to the Program twenty-five years of experience in different facets of the investment and business world, both as PE and VC. For 7 years, Eyal was the CEO of the Borovitz Mozes Group (BMG), a $3 billion privately held company controlling El Al – Israel Air Line, Sonol gas stations, Tambour paints, GES environmental solutions and others. Eyal was responsible for the group strategy, M&A and served as a board member to most of the Group's companies. Prior to BMG, Eyal was a Vice President at Bankers Trust for five years. Eyal have vast experience in early stage investments (Mobileye among others). In 2010 Eyal served as an advisor to the Government of Israel and the Israeli Space Agency, and served on the board of the Israeli chapter of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) from 2007 to 2012. Eyal served as captain in the Israeli Navy after graduating with highest honors at the Naval Academy. Eyal holds BS.c in Computer Science and Economics, and MBA both from Tel Aviv University and graduate The HBS President Program.
